In an interview with Sarkih Abdul Kareem Giwa I, who is the Zongo Chief of cape coast said that, drug abuse is a dangerous act to practice.
According to him, drug abuse destroys the immune system and can result in other harmful diseases which can also lead to death.
Alhaji Sarkih said that, the youth of today depend mostly on drugs like, tramadol,weed, marijuana etc. in other to work and this act forces the body to over work it's time leading to system breakdown.
He advised the youth to desist from drugs and engage themselves with work or entrepreneurship which can also reduce unemployment in the country.
He continued by saying that, it is not the job of the government only but everyone in the country can help to reduce drug abuse by reporting to the nearest police station for the enforcement of law.
In conclusion, he said that, the youth should wise up in the coming year to avoid been used to cause harm and misunderstanding during the up coming elections.
