NGSJF DRAGS ZOOMLION BOSS TO COURT

 The President of The New Ghana Social Justice Forum (NGSJF), Mr. Yahaya Alhassan, has summoned The Chief Executive Officer (C.E.O), of Zoomlion Ghana, Mr. Joseph Siaw Agyapong, in the Circuit Court of Justice, Accra, for not paying workers that have worked for six(6) months .

Mr. Alhassan explained that they had asked the Zoomlion C.E.O, Mr. Joseph Siaw Agyapong  to pay the outstanding six(6) months salary arrears for  45,000 workers amounting to GHC40,500,000.00 but to no avail.

 He said, Mr. Agyapong has refused to pay the said amount of money unless ordered by the court to do so, which is why he, the voice for the voiceless, has taken the matter to court, for justice to be served.

 The order is also directed for Mr. Agyapong to pay the workers realistic salaries in respect to the minimum wage requirement, and not the monthly slave-salary of GHC180.00 OR 17USD paid by Zoomlion.
