Speaking in a press conference organized in Accra, Mr.
Alhassan, expressed disappointment on how some government officials are
extorting money from the vulnerable, and desperate unemployed, who are in
search of jobs in the public sector.
“There’s economic hardship, so when public officials take
money from job seekers, promising them of jobs, in the public sector, then,
that becomes extortion. They are extorting the vulnerable populace, and that is
disappointing. It’s immoral; because there are no jobs, in the country”, he
added.
Mr. Alhassan, advised
The Ghana National Security Agencies, such as; The Ghana Immigration Service,
Ghana Police Service, Ghana National Fire Service, Ghana Prisons Service etc.,
and other public sectors engaging in this immoral act, to desist from it.
